Common Usage Heat-resistant aluminum coating providing protection for ferrous metals subject to high-temperature conditions.
Colors 1261 Aluminum
Primers Self-priming. 90E-92 and 90-96 may be used as primers for 39-1261 up to 750°F (399°C)
continuous.
Volume Solids 25.0 ± 2.0%
Recommended DFT 0.7 to 1.5 mils (20 to 40 microns) per coat. Note: Number of coats recommended will vary depending on exposure conditions and other variables. Contact your Tnemec representative for specific recommendations.

Curing time varies with surface temperature, air movement, humidity and film thickness.
Note: Final cure accomplished after 1 hour at 400°F (204°C) or when unit is put into continuous operation at or above 400°F (204°C). If final cure is not accomplished, performance of the coating may be adversely affected.
