Tnemec Company Inc., Names Doug Hansen Director of Sales, Water Tank Market

(KANSAS CITY, Mo., September 12, 2007) - Tnemec Company Inc., a leading manufacturer of high-performance protective coatings for specialized industrial and architectural markets, has named Doug Hansen as director of sales, Water Tank Market, according to Chase Bean, executive vice president.

“Doug is especially well-qualified to carry on Tnemec’s tradition as a leader in the water storage market,” Bean added. “His background and experience will be invaluable in managing this business for customer service, product line enhancements and incremental growth.”

Bean cited Hansen’s considerable knowledge and experience from his years as Tnemec vice president of Technical Service. He has also served in Tnemec’s marketing department and as a principal agent for the independent representative agency in Georgia, where he was successful in establishing and growing strong customer relationships.

Hansen’s career includes positions in the research and development laboratory at Cook Paint and as vice president of Sales for Columbian TecTank based in Kansas City. He belongs to the American Water Works Association and holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and Biology from Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville.
